Internet for the home
Every price on this page is the full monthly price for the service. Equipment, taxes and regulatory fees are listed separately below, and no rate on this page expires into a higher one.
Which of these reaches me? Fiber only in Sheridan County, Wyoming. DSL across Wyoming and six neighbouring states. Fixed wireless anywhere in the United States, subject to a survey. Check the coverage page, or ask for a representative — the visit and the survey are free either way. Buying for a company? See business plans.
Fiber NET Fiber
Fiber to the premises, symmetrical upload and download, unlimited data. Available in Sheridan and nine surrounding communities in northern Wyoming, over plant we have been rebuilding since 2021. The annual rate applies with a twelve-month agreement, which also waives installation. Month-to-month carries no agreement and no early termination charge in any circumstance.
| Plan | Download | Upload | Data | 12-month rate | Month-to-month |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| NET Fiber 300 | 300 Mbps | 300 Mbps | Unlimited | $54.95/mo | $64.95/mo |
| NET Fiber 600 | 600 Mbps | 600 Mbps | Unlimited | $74.95/mo | $84.95/mo |
| NET Fiber 1 Gig | 1000 Mbps | 1000 Mbps | Unlimited | $94.95/mo | $104.95/mo |
| NET Fiber 2 Gig | 2000 Mbps | 2000 Mbps | Unlimited | $149.95/mo | $159.95/mo |
Typical latency 3–8 ms, measured to our edge router in Sheridan. A single device over Wi-Fi will not see two gigabits, and often will not see one — that is a limit of Wi-Fi rather than of the circuit, and we would rather tell you than sell you a bigger plan that changes nothing. The 2 Gig plan requires a 2.5 GbE port on your equipment.
Fixed wireless NET Wireless
A dish or panel antenna mounted on the roof, aimed at a tower. This is the service that reaches most of the country: our own sites across the Mountain West, and capacity on partner tower networks elsewhere, acquired along with the operators we bought. Availability is decided address by address, never by ZIP code, and it is confirmed by a representative standing on your property with a test radio.
| Plan | Download | Upload | Data | 12-month rate | Month-to-month |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| NET Wireless 25 | 25 Mbps | 5 Mbps | Unlimited | $49.95/mo | $59.95/mo |
| NET Wireless 50 | 50 Mbps | 10 Mbps | Unlimited | $64.95/mo | $74.95/mo |
| NET Wireless 100 | 100 Mbps | 20 Mbps | Unlimited | $84.95/mo | $94.95/mo |
| NET Wireless 200 | 200 Mbps | 30 Mbps | Unlimited | $109.95/mo | $119.95/mo |
Typical latency 15–35 ms. Needs clear line of sight; trees in leaf are the usual reason an address does not qualify. Heavy rain or wet snow can reduce throughput on the top tier, though the link stays up. Sectors are engineered to a 4:1 contention ratio and we will tell you the loading on your sector if you ask.
DSL NET DSL
Copper we did not lay. It came with the regional operators we acquired between 2021 and 2024, and it still serves people for whom nothing else has arrived. Available across Wyoming and in Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah and Idaho. Achievable speed falls with distance from the cabinet, so the plan you are sold is the plan your line actually tested at — not the one with the best-sounding number.
| Plan | Download | Upload | Data | Monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NET DSL 10 | 10 Mbps | 1 Mbps | Unlimited | $39.95/mo |
| NET DSL 25 | 25 Mbps | 3 Mbps | Unlimited | $49.95/mo |
| NET DSL 50 | 50 Mbps | 10 Mbps | Unlimited | $59.95/mo |
Month-to-month only — we will not put a new customer under a term agreement for a platform we are winding down. Typical latency 25–60 ms. NET DSL 50 needs a bonded pair and is available on roughly a third of the copper we hold. Where fiber or wireless reaches your address, one of those is the better purchase and our representative will say so before writing an order.

What comes with every plan
Included at no extra charge
- Unlimited data — no cap, no soft cap, no slowdown by volume
- A dynamic public IPv4 address and a routed IPv6 /56 prefix
- Five mailboxes on
@neweratele.comif you want them - Reverse DNS delegation on request
- No blocking of inbound ports, including 25, 80 and 443
- Technical support by telephone, twenty-four hours
Things we say before you buy, not after
- Fixed wireless customers sit behind carrier-grade NAT unless you add a static address. Some consoles, cameras and VPN setups notice this.
- DSL speed is what the line tests at, not what the plan is called.
- Outside the Mountain West, some wireless capacity rides partner towers rather than our own. It is the same service and the same support number, and we will tell you which is which for your address.
- We do not sell or broker browsing data, and we run no advertising DNS. The privacy policy says so in plain words.
